Message from our principal
"Our school is special. It is special because of the staff and students that attend the school. You see it in their interactions. It’s just something that you can feel. We have high expectations, and we collectively rise to meet them. It is a privilege to lead and work with the staff of Mayfield West Demonstration School. They are a high performing team who are constantly engaged in demonstration lessons, supporting preservice teachers and reflecting on their own practice. It is just what they do. They understand their responsibilities and the power they have in shaping the life trajectories of our students and the ripple effect into the wider community. Many staff are engaged in nationally recognised accreditation at highly accomplished and lead teacher levels. They have an unwavering focus on the achievement and wellbeing of every child."
Matthew Bradley, Principal of Mayfield West Demonstration School
