P & C

The P&C Federation of NSW has been around for over 100 years. Their story is of dedicated parents and citizens, selfless volunteerism, and a commitment to a quality education for every Australian child. Since they began, they have been championing and supporting public schools in NSW and the benefits of parent and community involvement in education.

Our wonderful P&C is the main parent consultative group in our school. No waiting on a survey, members can add items to a meeting agenda for discussion. Some topics are hotly debated. The school and the P&C work in partnership to ensure our students can have the best education that money can't buy.

In addition, they ensure critical services exist for our students and families. These services run on a cost recovery basis for our families and includes the canteen and the uniform shop. The P&C are always looking for volunteers, and these do not need to be regular heavy time commitments.

Volunteers are always required for other one-off events such as, Mother's and Father's Day stalls, organising the cake drive or mango distribution, or turning a sausage on the BBQ at the athletics carnival. Our children love seeing their parents involved.

The funds raised through the P&C is donated back to school for various purchases needed for students. These priorities are negotiated between the school and P&C with the view to seeing the results for their children and the future students of the school.
